To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage of any kind arising out of the use of this site, including lost, corrupted or unrecoverable files, lost profits, or lost time. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions apply only so far as the law allows.
Always keep your own copy of any file before you work on it here. Nothing is stored for you, and nothing can be recovered by us.
Where a tool encrypts a document or stores a signature, the password or PIN is never sent to us and is never stored anywhere we can reach. If you lose it, the file or signature cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. What protection those features actually give, and what they do not, is described on the protection page. Please read it rather than assuming.
Only use files you have the right to use. Do not use these tools for anything unlawful, or to remove protection from a document you are not entitled to. The tools are offered for legitimate use with your own documents and nothing more.
How your files are handled is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: the PDF, image, editing, password and signature tools run entirely in your browser and never upload anything. The one exception is the “best compatibility” mode for Word, Excel and PowerPoint on the Combine page, which processes files in memory on a server and discards them immediately, because browsers cannot convert those formats on their own.
The tools and these terms may change over time. Continued use means you accept the current version.
